Welcome!

Land of Enchantment Guides is a fly fishing guide service, taking clients to fish on all types of water - from large rivers to high mountain spring creeks and lakes, we have them all here in Northern New Mexico. The landscape is breathtaking and extremely diverse, with everything from deserts, canyons and mountains with alpine forests of pines and aspen to mesas of cactus and juniper. We have clear air, lots of sunshine and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The fishing is excellent year round with abundant numbers of fish to be caught. Northern New Mexico is truly a fly fisherman’s “Land of Enchantment”.

Our most important goal as guides is to ensure that our clients have fun, along with offering the chance to develop or improve fishing skills. Many years of personal fishing and guiding experience enable us to accommodate anyone, from beginners who have never fly-fished before to accomplished anglers. We know our local waters well and do our best to match the perfect location with each individual's desires and needs. Along with this, we are able to offer fishing on a few private ranches with some amazing rivers and ponds.

Many people, especially friends and spouses of our fishing clients, have asked us about going on hikes and learning more about the wildlife and historical sights in our area of New Mexico. We now offer guided day hikes, without a rod in hand, for people who may not be as interested in fishing but still want to experience more of “The Land of Enchantment”.

Please take some time to explore our website for more in depth information. Hopefully, this will help you to have a wonderful experience in Northern New Mexico. Contact us at anytime if you have any questions, need more information or if you would like to book a trip.
